Our products are created in custom resin formulas using 8K technology. They are inspected, sanded and sealed with a matte acrylic clear coat for maximum presentation and safety. Do not clean your model in anything but warm soap and water. We have taken great precautions on our end by adding strengthening additives to our materials, following proper curing processes and taking extensive shipping precautions. Enjoy!
Most of our miniatures come detached from their bases for safe transport and ease of painting/basing your model. Other models may require some further assembly. If so, any cyanoacrylate adhesive (super-glue) will do. We recommend a low viscosity, fast-dry formula used extremely sparingly. For more detailed areas, adding a dab of glue to a small silicone tray and using a toothpick to apply the adhesive works best.
There is no "right" way to paint your model. There are countless techniques and methods that can help guide your desired results. 3D Printed minis are fragile! They are not the same as injection molded plastic and will break. Take care when unboxing your items. Adding paint, primer and clear coat layers helps in strengthening your models. Adhering miniatures to a base also greatly helps with reinforcement. In most cases, your miniature can be repaired with adhesive, though it can prove to be extremely challenging and often requires some kind of jig or support. Our minis are meant for tabletop play, but please, handle with care.
Photopolymer resin is cured through UV light. Your model has already been cured to the appropriate specifications. Avoiding any further exposure to UV waves will greatly increase the longevity and durability of your model. We recommend storing your models in a cool, dry and artificially lit room. Better yet, storing in a dark case or box when not in use will add years of life to your model. There are many different types of boxes designed specifically for tabletop miniatures, or a simple tackle/tool box also works great!
Your model has been properly cleaned and sealed, keeping you even safer from touch exposure to photopolymer resin. It has been sealed with a matte acrylic clear coat which can be reactive to other agents such as isopropyl alcohol and many aggressive degreasers. Treat your mini as if it was painted, and clean only in a dish of warm soapy water. You may delicately use a fine brush to help scrub away shelf dust or play grime.
